Where and when is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will be held on Friday Oct.11th between 5-7 PM and Saturday, October 12th from 12-5 PM at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie. There will be a small packet pickup on the day of the race between 7:15 AM and 8:15 AM at The Dutchess County Fairgrounds. We encourage everyone to get their packets in advance. A friend/relative can pick up your packet providing they have a valid copy of your ID.
Late registration is available onsite providing we have not reached the cap. Please check the home page or social media to confirm bibs are still available on race weekend.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is parking available on site The Dutchess County Fairgrounds, and in town at the Municipal Lots.
Please arrive for the races no later than 8:15 AM. We encourage people to arrive early.
How will the race be timed?
ARE Event Productions will be providing chip timing using disposable B-Tags.
Will the races sell out?
The 12th Annual Fall Foliage Half Marathon & 5K will be capping both races combined at 1200 participants.
We are expecting to sell out based upon last year's registration numbers. To ensure your space please register early! After capacity is reached we will maintain an active waiting list.
Can I walk and is there a time limit for the Half Marathon?
Yes you can walk and yes there is a time limit of 3:30 for the half marathon. After that time the clock will be kept running but there will be no additional course support available.
There is no time limit for the 5K, which will finish in the same spot as the half marathon.
How can I register for the race?
The quickest and easiest way to register for the race is to click on the link on the Race Info page, the Home Page or here. We will be working with Marathon Guide to provide online registration services.
In person registration will be available at all packet pick up locations and also on Race Day between 7:15 AM-8:15 AM at The Dutchess County Fairgrounds provided we have not reached 1200 registrants.
Are there awards and medals?
Yes, all half marathon finishers will receive a well-deserved medal. 5K participants will receive a dogtag finisher medal.
Prize Money, Overall Awards and Age Group Awards will be available for both races.
